Theta Gold Mines is another promising South African gold play

Theta aims to build a gold production platform to recover 160,000 oz pa from the Pilgrims Rest Project, 370 km east of Johannesburg. This is based primarily around shallow, open‐cut or adit‐entry underground mining sources. Theta Gold Mines has access to over 43 historical mines and prospect areas that can be accessed and explored, with over 6.7 Moz of historical production recorded.
